In 1996, a young man by the name of Richard Stone returned home from working in Bombay with nothing but a few rupees to his name. A friend introduced him to the fine art of making juggling balls, and within four weeks Richard found himself at the Edinburgh Festival with 1000 juggling balls to sell. With one day to go and 50 balls left, the heavens opened and the crowds disappeared. But this did not deter Richard from his mission of selling the remaining stock, and so he found a juggling shop and negotiated the sale of the final 50 balls.

Hence the business of RJB Stone was founded. A machine was created that produced 3000 juggling balls a week, clients were established from Estee Lauder to Arsenal Football Club (and of course Richards beloved Plymouth Argyle), and the foundations of what has now become a multi million pound business were built.td>

Thirteen years later, RJB Stone has grown into a widely recognised giftware company, with over a thousand accounts across the length and breadth of the UK and Europe, and is known for introducing innovative and creative gift and interior products to the marketplace at very reasonable prices. The company launches new product ranges throughout the year, the majority of which are designed in-house, and also develops bespoke ranges for department stores and major clients.

With 24 people now working in the office and warehouse, RJB Stone has built up a very strong team of designers, sales and office staff, with a wealth of experience in the trade, and the company goes from strength to strength.
